Charlotte pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Fort Myers, their record now sits at 9-5.
Fort Myers skirted past Charlotte 1-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Myers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
