Brown hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Bree Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five steals.
Carolina International's loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.5 points per game. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Carolina International will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Apprentice Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Sugar Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
