After three games on the road, Screven County is heading back home. They will take on the Jefferson County Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Screven County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Screven County has not done well against Jefferson County recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Screven County came out on top against Jefferson County by a score of 57-50.
Screven County found their leader in underclassman Rodney Beckwith, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Beckwith scored 15 or more points.
Screven County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-17. As for Jefferson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
