At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Gray, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Trent Johnson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Johnstown-Monroe pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Watkins Memorial, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything went Watkins Memorial's way against Johnstown-Monroe in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Watkins Memorial made off with a 12-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Johnnies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
