It was a good run, but the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a tough 44-23 defeat at the hands of Vassar. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy struggled afterwards.
Among those leading the charge was Jordon Cain, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Makenna McCloud was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Vassar, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.
Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will take on Caseville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vassar, they will head out on the road to face off against Reese at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Reese is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
