Telstar is undefeated when Bryson posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Deprey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Brayden Easterlin, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Telstar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Telstar has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Rangeley Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
