Kasey Lee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Hobbton let Lathan Warren and Ayden Lawson run wild. Hobbton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for North Duplin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hobbton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.5 stolen bases per game.
