Kane was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Phinn Chamberlain did his best to prevent it. Chamberlain was unstoppable, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
