The Grangeville Bulldogs had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.5 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 77-25 victory over Orofino. Grangeville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 25 points or more this season.
Grangeville found their leader in underclassman Caryss Barger, who scored 28 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Barger hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisyn Vanderwall, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Grangeville pushed their record up to 20-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Orofino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Grangeville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kellogg at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. One thing working in Grangeville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matches. Orofino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
