The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as Whitman-Hanson Regional are ranked 104 places ahead of New Bedford in the state rankings. The match brought Whitman-Hanson Regional to 2-0 and dropped New Bedford to a mirror-image 0-2.
Whitman-Hanson Regional are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Hingham next week at 7:00 PM. As for New Bedford, they will face off against Bridgewater-Raynham.
