The San Marcos Rattlers lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-50 walloping at the hands of Judson. San Marcos just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
San Marcos lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josiah Hollmon, who scored ten points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Donavan Riddick, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
San Marcos has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 21-12 record this season. As for Judson, their win bumped their record up to 19-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Marcos will take on New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in New Braunfels' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 matches. As for Judson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Steele at 7:00 p.m. Steele will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Judson surely won't give up without a fight.
