Raton came into Friday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Tucumcari Rattlers by a score of 7-3 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Rattlers last Friday, they had to take a 9-4 defeat.

Raton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Castillo, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Tucumcari, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Raton will host Cimarron at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tucumcari, they will venture away from home to challenge Clayton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rattlers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
