After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Simon, Patagonia was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Superior Panthers 42-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Lobos have posted since November 22, 2024.

Patagonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Lewton, who posted 16 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Majalca, who earned five points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals.

Patagonia was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Superior lost, don't look at Lilianna Fritz. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. Fritz has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

With the victory, Patagonia broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11. As for Superior, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Patagonia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-35 loss against Baboquivari on the 17th. As for Superior, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-18 defeat against Cicero Prep Academy on the 13th.
