Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the IMG Academy White Ascenders walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Rams at home. Considering IMG Academy White has won ten games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
IMG Academy White had a senior duo take command as CLAY ASH rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry and TYLER SLOMKA rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was IMG Academy White's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. MARSHALL MOLDRE was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
IMG Academy White has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Specially Fit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
IMG Academy White does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Specially Fit Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
