Having just played yesterday, the Fort Stockton Panthers will jump right back in to play the Horizon Scorpions at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Fort Stockton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 35-30 to Kermit. Fort Stockton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Horizon had to suffer through a rough 41-12 loss at the hands of Del Rio.
Fort Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Horizon, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
