The Watertown-Mayer Royals fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game Monday as the odds are decidedly against them. They are staying on the road to face off against the Mound-Westonka White Hawks. Mound-Westonka will be strutting in after a win while Watertown-Mayer will be stumbling in from a loss.
The Royals came up short against Annandale this past Friday, falling 65-58.
Meanwhile, Mound-Westonka strolled past Litchfield with points to spare this past Thursday, taking the game 48-34.
Watertown-Mayer took a serious blow against Mound-Westonka in the teams' previous meeting in January, falling 75-44. Can Watertown-Mayer avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
