The Neumann-Goretti Saints entered their tilt with the Spring-Ford Rams with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Neumann-Goretti simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Spring-Ford 77-44 at home.
Leading Neumann-Goretti to victory were Torrey Brooks and Larenzo Jerkins. Brooks scored ten points along with six assists and four steals, while Jerkins scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The contest was Jerkins' third in a row with at least ten points. Khaafiq Myers was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Neumann-Goretti pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Spring-Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Neumann-Goretti will take on Imani Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at. Spring-Ford will be home for the holidays to greet Owen J. Roberts at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
