Heart of the Plains (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Connor Fowler Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Fairfield's Connor Fowler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fowler rushed for 97 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown on only five passes.
Fowler and Fairfield will square off against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons had to take a loss when they last met the Trojans, but Fowler had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

On Friday, Central Christian got the W thanks in part to Piercen Huff playing the best football he has all season. Huff picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
The win (which was Central Christian's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Huff will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Norwich on Friday.
