Last Tuesday, Giles County had to suffer through a rough 63-6 loss at the hands of Lincoln County. Giles County has struggled against Lincoln County recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Fayetteville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Cascade 57-52.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kaydan Parks, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Elly Bain, who scored 12 points.
The losses dropped Giles County to 0-6 and Lincoln County to 4-4.
Giles County lost to Fayetteville at home by a decisive 52-34 margin in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Giles County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
