Lake Arthur won the last time they faced Midland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers blew past the Rebels 14-4. Considering the Tigers have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Abshire was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Kami Simon also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Lake Arthur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midland only posted an OBP of .409.

Lake Arthur has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Midland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
