The Litchfield Terriers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-35 loss at the hands of Reading. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Litchfield in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now lost four in a row.
Aubree Ervans continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Reading, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ervans is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Maggie Santure was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Litchfield's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Reading, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Litchfield will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reading, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springport is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
