After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middleborough, the Carver Crusaders were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 47-6 victory over Randolph on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Carver has managed all season.
Jadyn Sotomayor was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 13 points along with two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Josie Helms was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Carver now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Randolph, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fairhaven at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Randolph, they will face off against Blue Hills RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Blue Hills RVT presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Randolph in Massachusetts (Blue Hills RVT is ranked 11th, while Randolph is ranked 68th).
