With a playoff win on the line, John Paul II rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Antonian Prep Apaches. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 22 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was John Paul II's 13th in a row) raised their record to 27-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Antonian Prep, they moved to 26-8 with that defeat, which also ended their 19-game winning streak.

As of now, neither John Paul II nor the Apaches have any future games scheduled.
