Softball Recap: Salado Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

After only two runs in their last matchup, Salado made sure to put some runs up on the board against Jarrell on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Cougars 13-4. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Salado pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Jarrell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Salado nor Jarrell have any future games scheduled.
