League leaders
Lowry (9-0 in the league play, 10-5 overall) and the Indians (7-0, 12-2) will look to grab hold of first place in the standings this week. Last week, the Buckaroos went 3-0, while Elko was 3-0.
The Indians' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 23 hits and 12 walks to lead the league in both categories.
Lowry led the league with 120 runs scored this week, but Elko still holds the season lead with 149 runs.

Justin Pete was an RBI machine on Saturday, as he knocked in four runs during Elko's 12-5 win over
South Tahoe. He went 4-for-4 and scored two runs.
