They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over University Christian. That looming 41-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hickory Christian Academy yet this season.
Hickory Christian Academy was led to victory by Mary alice Bowman and Mia McGrath. Bowman scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while McGrath dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bowman has scored all season.
Hickory Christian Academy's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-9. As for University Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 12-6 record last season and are now at 3-5.
