The Coral Springs Charter Panthers will face off against the American Heritage Stallions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Heritage took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Coral Springs Charter, who comes in off a win.
Coral Springs Charter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on Glades Central with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Panthers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Vincent Campbell looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Coral Springs Charter is 2-1 when Campbell allows one or fewer earned runs, but 8-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Chris Lora was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nolan Mianowski, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Meanwhile, American Heritage entered their contest against Barron Collier on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Stallions took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.
American Heritage also got a good showing from Lucas Shahrabani, who struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk).
On the hitting side, American Heritage saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Fernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 14-10. As for Coral Springs Charter, they moved to 10-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
Coral Springs Charter skirted past American Heritage 6-4 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
