River Falls came tearing into  Friday's  match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hermantown Hawks by a score of  2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2022.
 Amelie Pankonin paced River Falls' offense, picking up 11 kills. Pankonin got some help from  Allie Larsen and her 13 assists.  Charlie Cegielski and  Brooke Dusek kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
River Falls' victory bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Hermantown, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record  this season.
