Desert Hills faced Snow Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Thunder were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Andrew Wiley tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Harmon Skeen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Haigen Reed, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Desert Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Snow Canyon only posted a batting average of .176.

Desert Hills' record is now 21-4. As for Snow Canyon, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.

As of now, neither Desert Hills nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
