Softball Recap: Atlantic Extends Winning Streak to Four

Atlantic barely beat Lewis Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 11-2 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Atlantic's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lewis Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Atlantic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Creston on the 10th. As for Lewis Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-4 win against Denison-Schleswig on the 10th.
