Softball Recap: Atlantic Wins Going Away Against Lewis Central

Atlantic barely beat Lewis Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 11-2 win on Monday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Atlantic and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Lewis Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atlantic is set to challenge their familiar foe Creston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lewis Central will square off against rival Denison-Schleswig at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
