Mater Academy East Las Vegas got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Victoria Rubio-White out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 12  points and 11  boards. Rubio-White is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Amija Macon, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds.
 Mater Academy East Las Vegas was working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Basic only posted ten  assists.
 Basic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tatum Meatoga, who  posted 12 points.  Mia Frias was another key player,  putting up 17 points.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' record is now 11-5. As for Basic, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record  this season.
 Mater Academy East Las Vegas will be playing in front of their home fans against Virgin Valley  at 6:30  p.m.  on January 8th.
