The Victor Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Churchville-Chili 28-14. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Victor was the (much) better team in the second half.
Victor had a senior duo take command as Adam Ruffalo picked up 81 receiving yards and three touchdowns and Jameson Ricigliano jr. rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Drevariis Yeomas and his 98 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Victor's win.
Victor's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.2 points per game. As for Churchville-Chili, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Victor will square off against Brighton at TBD on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Brighton is ranked 85th, while Victor is ranked 60th). Churchville-Chili does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
