There's no place like home for Rushville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the North Decatur Chargers on Wednesday. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Kyleigh Glandon, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Audrey Angle, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Rushville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Rushville moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Decatur, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Coming up, Rushville will take on Hagerstown in a tournament on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season. As for North Decatur, they will head out to face off against Hauser at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.75 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
