Kensington won the last time they faced Bodine, and Rob Smith did his part to make sure it happened again. The Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER came out on top against Bodine by a score of 71-62 on Thursday thanks in part to Smith, who posted 35 points. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Another player making a difference was Alejandro Paulino, who had 16 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
Alex Delisca and Munir Herbert certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Delisca dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Herbert went 7 of 9 en route to 16 points and four steals. Delisca has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigeir Fisher, who put up 12 points.
Kensington's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-7. As for Bodine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
Kensington will square off against Franklin Towne at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bodine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
