After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Big Sky, the Butte Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Flathead by a score of 63-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Butte also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
Flathead lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being David Moody, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabe Sims, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory got Butte back to even at 4-4. As for Flathead, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Butte will be playing at home against Capital at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flathead, they will head out on the road to challenge Sentinel at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Sentinel is on a three-game streak of home losses, Flathead a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
