The Victory Baptist Academy Patriots can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Azle Christian at home to the tune of 65-32. The victory was just what Victory Baptist Academy needed coming off of a 59-32 defeat in their prior contest.
Victory Baptist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. Johnson hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 20 straight games. Hudson Ruhl was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds.
Victory Baptist Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Azle Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10.
Victory Baptist Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Azle Christian on the road again on Friday and play against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
