Even though the Austin Mustangs have not done well against the Waltrip Rams recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Austin walked away with a 38-25 win over Waltrip. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Austin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Austin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashtian Glass, who scored 15 points. Hailey Alfaro was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Austin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Waltrip, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
