The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders lost against the Antioch Christian Academy Gators back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Christ the Cornerstone Academy was beaten by Antioch Christian Academy 54-22.
Hayden Larrimore went supernova for Antioch Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Paityn Evans was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Antioch Christian Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mullins Marion Christian the next time they take the court. Antioch Christian Academy will head out to face Mullins Marion Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Christ the Cornerstone Academy will host them on Friday.
