Even though Babylon has not done well against the Tuckers recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Babylon came out on top against the Tuckers by a score of 51-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Babylon.
Babylon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Delaney Busch led the charge by scoring ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Busch has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Logue-boyd, who scored 11 points.
Shelter Island's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Babylon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Shelter Island was dealt a bruising 51-13 loss at the hands of the Panthers in their previous matchup back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Shelter Island was down 34-4.
