It's playoff time, and Hoggard had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Rolesville Rams 40-14 on Friday. Considering the Vikings have won nine matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Matthew Boring was his usual excellent self, rushing for 49 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 78 yards and one TD.

Hoggard didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Rolesville to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Jude Moulton for the heroic effort on defense: he. Hoggard hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.55 or higher in nine consecutive games.

Hoggard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Moulton, Rasean Williams, and Liam Geib picked up one apiece. Moulton has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last four times he's played. Marshall Chalk was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defending one pass.

Despite the loss, Rolesville still got an impressive performance from Kaleb Williams, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 267 yards and a pair of TDs. Gavin Waddell was Williams' top target, picking up 118 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Rolesville, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Hoggard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-7 loss against Millbrook on the 28th. Rolesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
