Muchin College Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Baker 53-9 on the road. That 53-9 margin sets a new team best for Muchin College Prep this season.
Muchin College Prep can attribute much of their success to Jalen McIntyre , who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Omarie Burns was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tilden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 62-24 win over Victoria Soto at home. That looming 62-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tilden yet this season.
Tilden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lunden Williams, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and six steals. That's the first time this season that Williams posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Bailon, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
Muchin College Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Tilden, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
