Kayleigh Miller was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mattie Carter, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Paris kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 9-3 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Robinson waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Maroons have posted against the Indians since May 14, 2018.
Robinson pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Paris, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.
