Highland played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Lowell Red Devils, falling 56-32. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Highland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordan Steele, who posted 14 points and three steals. That was a full 43.8% of Highland's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Niemann, who had seven points.

Leading Lowell to victory were Bre Kidd and Gatlin Hanrath. Kidd went 7 of 17 on her way to 21 points, while Hanrath dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave Hanrath a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elysia Laub, who posted four points and nine rebounds.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lowell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Highland will face off against Hobart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowell, they will host Andrean at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
