Volunteer is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since March 28th on Friday. They skirted past Elizabethton 2-1.
Rylee Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Volunteer hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329. However, it's not like Greeneville struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Volunteer beat Greeneville 6-2 when the teams last played on Thursday. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Greene Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
