Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lamar County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Fannin County Rebels on Saturday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Lamar County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-14.

Lamar County's loss dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Fannin County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-19.

Lamar County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fannin County, they will square off against Bremen on Wednesday.
