South Pittsburg is 3-0 against the Mustangs since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The South Pittsburg Pirates will look to defend their home court against the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Thursday, South Pittsburg lost to the Panthers on the road by a decisive 56-37 margin. South Pittsburg has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy was beaten by the Panthers 82-14 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Panthers are ranked 175th).
South Pittsburg now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.
