Okeene have been struggling to pick up a victory, and their game against Texhoma on Thursday only made it three winless games in a row. Okeene were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Texhoma.
The loss dropped Okeene back to even at 4-4. The win was the 3rd in a row for Texhoma raised their record to 5-3.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Next week Okeene will take on Fairview at 7:00 PM. Fairview enter the contest touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals. As for Texhoma, they will face off against Oklahoma Bible. Oklahoma Bible took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Texhoma's good fortune.
