Bullitt East has won three straight games at home, while Bethlehem has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Chargers will welcome the Eagles/Banshees at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bullitt East is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Butler 16-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Chris Logan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on two hits.

At the plate, Hunter Holland was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Elder, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bullitt East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Marion County. The win continues a trend for the Eagles/Banshees in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.
Bullitt East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bethlehem, their win bumped their record up to 16-14.
Bullitt East took their victory against Bethlehem in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 14-8 score. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles/Banshees turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
