Argos' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Bollenbacher, who posted 18 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Bollenbacher a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Mellon, who had five points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
Argos' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for West Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Argos will take on Winamac at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Argos is facing Winamac at the right time seeing as Winamac is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Central, they will challenge North White at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant centers against one another: DeMoss and Autumn Reif.
